WATER SHUT OFF Automatically stops water flow when accessories are removed, so you can change tools in the middle of watering without getting wet.
STANDARD CONNECTION Attaches to a standard 3/4-in. outdoor garden hose.
PRODUCT SPECIFICATION For cold water outdoor irrigation use only.
I like to garden. But constantly connecting and discconnecting hoses and attachements is a pain. So I often just use whatever is there as it's faster than changing attachements, etc.But with the quick connects, I get fast connections, can tighten the stuff enough that nothing leaks, and can quickly move a hose or attachement anywhere I want. I can't imagine how I survived all these decades without this. There are 2 models - 1 with a shut off plunger type thing. I use that between the faucet and the hose. The other does not have the quick shutoff and I use that to connect attachments to the hose. You may get frustrated if you use the shutoff-plunger type version at the end of a hose.
