My hose has changed through the years but I have usually been in charge of the watering. My girlfriends and eventual wife have always left the hosing to me. You might say I’ve always been the hosemaster in the household.When I was younger my hose was always the same type, thick, durable and easily subject to kink. As I got older I noticed changes in the hoses available. Flat hoses, expandable hoses, cloth hoses.I tried using an expandable cloth hose but found that when it wasn’t fully inflated, it just kept getting lost in the shrubbery. My wife suggested I trim back the hedges and even though I’ve always been a fan of full bush, I agreed.The trimming helped but then the neighbor got ahold of my hose, tried to use it for her bush and pulled on it until it nearly broke from the faucet! I mean c’mon lady… the thing only stretches so far! It started leaking everywhere, soaked the neighbor lady which really upset my wife and put my hose out of commission for almost a year.Fast forward to THIS hose which replaced the quickly broken cloth hose. Man what a difference! It’s much smaller in diameter than I’m used to and not nearly as stiff but REALLY flexible. Although it does expand it always maintains a respectable length even when not inflated so it doesn’t get lost in untrimmed bush. It also doesn’t succumb to kink much at all, but what really sells it is the head that comes with it. Large but nice and tight. No leaks, lots of settings.My wife loves my hose now and uses it all the time. She says it’s the perfect size for her, not too large or heavy, and hits every spot she wants watered. Now that she has taken control she gets the watering done much more efficiently, without wasted water or effort and seems really happy.This is possibly the best hose we’ve ever purchased!
