So it works I cook outside even at home by choice. I use a Coleman two burner stove. I don’t like cooking inside much at all unless I have to. Using the little tanks for some reason unless your camping feels like a waste. So got this hose. First it’s kind of sharpe plastic that goes to the tank to spin it on like that flat plastic edge is sharp. Next it did either get clogged or I didn’t have the tank open enough not really sure. One review said to build up pressure in the line then burn the gas. So I tried that and it seemed to work but we will see. Have always wanted this hose but 27 bucks is too much in my opinion for a 5 ft hose you use to cook outside sometimes or if your like me as much as you can. 16 is a little more reasonable however I’m hoping I didn’t get what I paid for. Some reviews say it doesn’t work with Coleman stoves or two burners even though it’s from Coleman. Not sure how that works. So it seems to work but we will see. Like I said so far I cooked breakfast and coffee with it and it worked for the most part. Going to now clean up and see if it works for that. Clean up is heating the cast iron and steaming it in the house lol with hot water. So my biggest and only real complaint is you feel like you need a gloves to attach to a tank so you don’t cut your hand other wise I think it will work for me. I don’t mind having to clear the line if that is the case as things aren’t made the same as they use to be so i don’t expect much sorry Coleman nothing against you guys i. I have a lot of your stuff anyway that works.Others have already stated this, but this hose does not work with many Coleman grills unless you adjust the regulator female insert on it first (used a long 10 mm socket to adjust 90° or 1/4 turn counterclockwise).Frankly it ought to work out of the box... Hence my subpar review score. We have a Coleman NXT 100. Here's what another said, and I used this to get mine functional:------Initially, the hose did not let gas from my 20 lb propane tank reach the burners on my Coleman NXT 200 grill; while a 1 lb disposable canister worked fine. It was puzzling why the canister fit fine but the hose and big tank did not. However, after digging around for answers on the web, it turned out the remedy actually was to modify the grill fitting to better fit the hose, i.e., the pin in the grill's female fitting is slightly too short and thus does not reach deep enough into the hose end to allow gas flow. I fixed this by placing a 10 mm socket into the grill's female fitting and turned the pin/nut counter-clockwise, loosening the nut (that is part of the pin assembly) by about a quarter turn, thus in effect lengthening the pin just a little to make up for the shortfall in the hose end. Then when I tested the hose again, gas successfully flowed to the burners. No leaks. I also checked to make sure my disposable canister was still a good fit after this modification, and it worked fine and did not leak. While my repair worked, I have to give the hose a one-star review for forcing me to do work that should have been done by the manufacturer to begin with. I don't know if Coleman screwed up making the hose or their grill, or both, in this case. Hopefully they will sort it out in future.Does it job and is a good quality connector. Used it to connect the big gallon gas tank to the Coleman stove.Works great to have a large gas cylinder for our grill when camping or at the beachI had to order a replacement hose. Chipmunks chewed through the first one. I wrapped the new hose in spiral cable wrap with black electrical tape to secure the ends. It would also help if you stretch the hose out to keep it off of the ground and away from the critters.Perfect for camping set. No need for disposable cans, got a 5lb tank and can refill at any propane place. Got enough propane for anything we need to cook. This does not connect to a 20 lb propane tank.I could not get this adapter to work with my grill. Thinking it was the adapter, I ordered a second one from Amazon, and it, too did not work.I emailed Coleman (coleman.com) and they responded in one day with suggestions to fix the problem. Below is what they sent. I turned the nut 1/4 turn couterclockwise and the adapter worked fine. They offered the best customer service I've experienced from any Amazon vendor. They even offered to replace the part or give me a refund, even though it was purchased from Amazon.I'm a VERY satisfied customer."Please check first if it is working on a Coleman 1lb propane cylinder toisolate the issue. If no gas is flowing, you can troubleshoot it byloosening the nut (that is part of the pin assembly on the regulator) byabout a quarter turn counterclockwise, thus in effect lengthening the pinthen reattach hose for the gas to flow."This item connects directly into the Coleman regulator and then to your propane cylinder. It works perfectly with my Calor gas 3.9kg and 6Kg propane orange cylinders. I have the Coleman Perfectflow two burner propane stove and the newer Coleman FyreChampion Double Burner Stove. They both work perfectly with this item. (The high pressure regulator for the Coleman, is the long stem part that screws into the side of the Coleman propane stove and is supplied with all Coleman propane stoves and cookers.) After ordering the item, it took ten day to arrive and was delivered by a Yodel courier. This item will save you so much money in comparison to using the expensive screw-in Coleman 457g and 465g 1lb bottle cylinders. I have also made my own hose and connector using a Silverline adjustable propane gas regulator (£5.99 eBay). This allows much more control over the flame and gives a much lower simmer when required. It is now my preferred connector and regulator as it gives full manual control over the regulator and burners. Perfect for the Coleman Fyre Champion which has to be the best camping stove out there. This will connect so you can use the larger propane bottles form a Calor Gas centre. More than pays for itself when you consider the small screw in bottles are expensive and you will need lots of them otherwise!PARA LOS COMPRADORES DE MX. CON SISTEMA DE GAS LP (TANQUE O CILINDRO) ESTA ES LA MANGUERA ADECUADA... SIN ADAPTADORES COMO LA ORIGINAL WEBER QUE TIENES QUE COMPRAR EL ADAPTADOR PARA PODER CONECTAR EL CILINDRO, ES DE ROSCA IZQ MACHO. Y LA OTRA ES HEMBRA DE ROSCA POR FUERA QUE NO SIRVE PARA LOS CILINDROS DE MX. ESPERO LES AYUDEHelps reduce the cost of buying lots of the Coleman single use small propane bottles which only last a couple of days with my Fryechampion.
