Usage Guidelines: The ferrules (collars) are reverse threaded. Screw these nearly all the way on so the hose end comes up to all but approx 1/8" (about 1/2 turn) from the top of the ferrule. Lubricate male threaded stem and internal hose opening inside ferrule hole with hydraulic oil Began threading stem into ferrule. The goal is to have the ferrule (collar) make as much contact with the hose yet still be able to get the stem started
