Bought this to hold a small garden hose on our deck. The vertical mounting was perfect for attaching to the 4x4s of the deck. It is smaller and narrower than most other hose reels which made it perfect for the small space.I am very disappointed in this product.It came and required assembly, I had to use an electric screw driver to the remove the pre-placed screws that were imbedded in the cast iron, (I guess they wanted to reduce packaging and placed the screws about half way set into the screw holes. Two of the screws heads I nearly stripped trying to remove the preset screws holes, because they were that wedged.Once I had this assembled, I realized this is not a functional hose holder as it is marketed, this is GENUINELY a decorative piece. Maybe it could hold thin tubing about maybe 4 feet of thin tubing. I needed this to be a functional and decorative hose holder for a 10 foot hose (which in the scheme of hoses is not that big of a hose). This is not going to fit the bill of functionality that I need.When I looked into returning it, since this is probably the most EXPENSIVE decoration I have purchased in awhile, I saw that I could not get a refund and would only get a credit. I am not making the same mistake again with online hose holders, unless I am online shopping at Home Depot or Lowes. But now I don't have the money to go and get a functional hose holder Very very very disappointed.States it would work for 50', 75' or 100' hose. You would be luck to get a 1/2" 25' hose to fit on this hose holder. Sent it back.It's very pretty and I love it. Seems sturdy enough for the flex hose it holds. I wouldn't trust it for a very long, heavy hose. It's perfect for my needs.Hard to assemble. Not all parts are usableAlthough this is a lovely piece and quite sturdy it did not fit 100 feet of our size hose. Would loved to have kept it but it is going back.It is a lot smaller than I expected. Of course I did not bother looking at the measurements. Other than that. It looks good and serves its purpose.It should be very easy to assemble. But the screw holes are ever so slightly off and if you put one screw in, the other barely gets two or three turns and that's it. Love the look of it but since one screw couldn't be tightened, I don't know how long it will last.very pleased with this item easy to assemble and put in place very strong and. well made with plenty of room to hang a garden hose, neat and. attractive, really does the job intend for would recommend. to future buyersWe chose this hose holder as we needed to tidy it up rather than leave it sprawled on the ground continuously after use. The holder works well and takes a decent amount of our 100 ft hose (see photograph).Definitely recommend this as an alternative to a plastic reel for hose. Looks gorgeous with hose pipe looped around itI was disappointed that it didn't come with any fixings to put it on the wall. One of the screws, used to assemble the piece does not screw in fully - I am worried it will not take the weight - but don't have the time to return it.This item was a lot smaller than expected and would not fit a 30ft hose. Also still waiting for Hermes to collect after 3 days. Was supposed to be picked up next working day.
