I bought this pump several years ago for a small leak in my basement but never used it. I continued to use my shop vac and lug the water to a drain. This year in Utah we received record snow fall and the runoff began leaking through my basement floor at a record rate. I knew I couldn't keep up with it with my shop vac so I set up the pump. It was easy to set up and this little pump did a great job. I avoided lugging gallons of water to the drain. I just ran the pump periodically as the water built up and used a hose to move the water to a drain. It allowed me to manage the water without breaking my back.I highly recommend this pump.
