I paired this 1/2" fitting with a 1/2" flexzilla hose. I cleanly cut the hose, slipped it all the onto the fittings and then hammered the clinches down onto the hose. I turned on the water and got leaks at the end of hose. The seal between the barbs and the hose wasn't tight enough.
